Overview
Specialty coffee roaster based in Bangsar, KL. Two locations, 20+ SKUs across single origins, blends, steeped bags, and branded water. Needed an online store that felt like them.

The Brief
Build an online store. Products live, checkout working, make it feel like Hani.
Starting point: a logo, black and white, Helvetica. That’s it.
Working With Minimal Brand Assets
No brand guide — every layout call is a brand call.
Reference point was their Instagram: bold, direct, no-fluff. That filtered every UI decision. Black and white palette forces clarity — layout and hierarchy do the work instead of colour.
Homepage & Hero
Full-bleed video hero — sets tone, no copy needed. Homepage flows: product → brand → locations → email opt-in.
Food gets a section, not a feature. Linked to the café menu, kept secondary. Coffee store first.
Structure & Navigation
Referenced La Cabra as a structural benchmark. Organise by product type, keep it shallow.
Collections: Espresso, Exotic, Single Origin, Steeped Bags, ION+ Water. Flat architecture — no buried categories. Featured and best-seller slots left for client to manage.
Supporting pages: Academy, Wholesale, Locations, FAQs — lightweight, brand-consistent, out of the way.
Click & Collect
Two locations, both reflected at checkout.
1.0 — Bangsar flagship. Café, food, 9am–6pm.
2.0 — Sri Wangsaria. Grab & go, 7am–4pm.
Customers pick their site at checkout. Online order, local pick-up.
Handover
Built end-to-end: 20+ SKUs, collection architecture, EasyParcel shipping, Stripe payments, GoDaddy domain, theme customisation. Handed over so the team runs it independently — no dev needed.

Outcome
Live Shopify store. Clean browsing, working checkout, fully handed over.
