Overview

Just Jokes My is a comedy events company that had never had a dedicated website. Previously, they managed event bookings through third-party platforms. The client approached me to create a central hub for showcasing upcoming events and directing users to purchase tickets seamlessly.

The goal was to provide a professional online presence, simplify event discovery for users, and give the client a website that was easy to update without requiring complex CMS management.

Challenge

• Client had no existing website, only third-party booking links.

• Events needed to be displayed in a calendar-style layout, but the client wanted a simple, static solution they could manage themselves.

• The design needed to highlight events visually, while keeping the booking process straightforward for users.

Solution

1. Design & Branding Alignment:

• Enhanced the existing brand with a clean, modern look that matches the playful, comedic nature of their events.

• Focused on visual hierarchy, ensuring events and ticket links were clear and easy to navigate.

2. Event Showcase Layout:

• Developed a calendar-style event layout using static images and text blocks.

• Designed so the client can easily swap out event images and details without touching code or a CMS.

• Each event features a ticket booking link that redirects to the external booking platform, keeping the user journey smooth.

3. Webflow Development:

• Built the website end-to-end in Webflow, from wireframes to fully functional responsive design.

• Optimized for desktop and mobile, ensuring events are easily discoverable on all devices.

Outcome

• Client now has a professional, user-friendly website to showcase all their events.

• Users can easily find and book tickets through clear call-to-actions.

• The static, self-manageable setup reduces ongoing maintenance while keeping content flexible.
